I've always taken photos of all my babies at this stage but the only one I really did a photo shoot for was Orion. So I thought it was about time to try another one. But don't be fooled. These few shots were so hard to get. Orion had a sniffle and the other two were so hot and uncooperative. It was hard to get a picture in which Orion wasn't sneezing or wiping his nose. Originally, Alex was going to take the pictures but our sweet neighbor wandered over and snapped a bunch of photos for me chasing after the kiddos over a dozen times just to get a few good shots.
Well, hope you enjoyed. Here's to our little surprise package from God. Our lucky charm baby. Can't wait to meet you Edison. Hopefully, it'll only be a couple more weeks. :)

Nesting Phase Part 1: Painting
Every time I get this close to having a baby, I get this sudden urge to paint something. So with a little sanding help from the hubby, I was able to get this chair done. I got two of them for free from a friend a while back as they were moving out of their apartment.
Amazing what a little paint can do to make a piece of furniture a fun accent piece in a home. I love it. Have one more to paint and I think my painting phase is done. Now, to the sewing machine. Not to mention all the side projects I have my sweet hubby doing around the house because I'm too big to move much. It's just so hard when your pelvis feels like it's about to fall through.

Final Stop: Home, PG, UT
After crossing the plains of South Dakota and Wyoming, we finally arrived in Pleasant Grove, UT. where our little apartment was waiting for us. And where we surprised Grand Mamita and Grand Papito because they had no idea we were here yet. That was fun. And funny to watch.
Day with Grandpa
The rest of the time we spent in Watertown, we spent with Grandpa Huntington. The older two went on a fishing trip while Hinckley and I waited around exploring.
Exploring the lakeside.
What is it with boys throwing rocks into the water. They get such a kick out of this.
After our boating day, we actually stopped for real dairy ice cream.
And since we don't eat it often, it sure was GOOD.
Orion caught his first fish which was actually bigger than this one but here's the catch that he fried up and ate with Grandpa's help.

Road Trip Time Again
Oh, how we love our road trips. Well, the traveling part can get long with three kids but we split it up into three parts this time and that made it a little less hectic.
The Chauffeur.
First stop: Chicago. Just to sleep. Second stop: Watertown, SD to visit Great Grandpa Joe. He turns 103 this year. Crazy. But it may very well be the last visit we make to him as he's been pretty sick lately. Poor Joe. But the kids loved spending the afternoon with him.
Good memories to make note of. It's so nice we get to make these trips often thanks to all the driving we have to do across the country. We might not otherwise make them.

Couldn't Resist a Few More Berries
On our way out of Lancaster, PA we had to collect some blackberries one more time. They're just too good to pass up.
Before they turn black, they're actually red and way more sour. Chrys kept on eating the red ones and making faces. Hinckley did the same but didn't seem to mind whether they were red or black.
Yummy-ness. I'll sure miss all the orchards in Lancaster.

A Taste of India
Just before coming home from Lancaster, we paid a special visit to one of my old roommates from the dorms. Elica is one of my dearest of friends from BYU. I wish I could have been in attendance at her wedding last year but a trip to India is not quite in our budget. Still, she showed me the most beautiful photos of her special day. Here's the album cover of which I couldn't help but capture a photo of because the colors were so spectacular. I love everything about India. If there was one place I could go visit, I think India would be it.
Here we are on the streets of Phily with her hubby, Dan.
Me and my dear friend.
And speaking of India, we had some great neighbors living out in Lancaster who were also from India and since I forgot to capture many photos, here is one of the few of Chrysalis playing with her little Indian friend Ann-Marie. Her Mommy cooked us some wonderful food on many an occasion and we were so grateful. Indian food is by far my favorite. Love the spices.
