Photo Shoot with The Other Huntington Family

I must admit I was a little covetous of Uncle Elliot's new camera.  Okay, a little is an understatement.  So I was super excited when he asked us to do an extra family shoot  because it meant I could practice using a super nice expensive camera to take some fun shots of their family with my artistic eye.  Ha ha! Not really.  But I think some of these turned out really nice.  Thanks to the quality of the camera and the fact that their family is so cute.  So enjoy another picture overload.  Here's Tate!

And sweet little Lillian!

I love how vintage this looks.  I need April's coat.

And I love how the sun shines through this shot.  She looks heaven sent, which she is.

The brothers with their most recent babies.

Tate having a meltdown.  Good times to remember.

Elliot took these of us and our family.

Had to have a kissy photo.

Tate gave them such a hard time, but finally, a few shots of him all smiles.

And this one I just had to post because it always makes me laugh.  It's the mother's expression that really brings out the comedy of this shot.

And a Merry Christmas shout out from the Huntingtons in Utah!

Christmas Hats 2011

I had to post these because my sweet aunt Norma made these silly and yet adorable hats for my three kids with her own hands.

It's totally A Christmas Story kind of gift that only the mother of these three cuties could love.  Thanks again Norma.  They actually wore these hats with pride to the Christmas dinner and got the greatest compliments on them.  And here are the Christmas dinner primary children singing a song to us.  I wish I'd gotten the video going sooner because as the pianist was playing the intro, Orion began singing a solo very loud.  I think everyone laughed at his solo.  He actually did it quite well.  Even here, you can tell he knows what he's singing.  I think his little voice stands out because of how loud he sings.  Proud Mommy and Daddy?  You bet we are.

Family Photo Shoot 2012 - Merry Christmas! In July!

Okay, this is super late.  And many of you may have already seen these posted on Facebook.  I wanted to post them here as well.  But we love taking photos.  Even with our not-so-professional camera that I love attempting to edit, to make look like a professional photographer shot these, and not our tripod.  So here is the photo overload you should have gotten back in Dec. 2011 as it was our family photo shoot for Christmas cards that never got sent out.  Merry Late Christmas Everyone!  It was a great year!

Because we were by the railroad tracks, we thought we'd try to make a few shots look like they came from a movie poster.  Any guess as to the movie?

Okay, this one should have given it away.  It's our Inception Love Scene shot.

Brief Summary of the Year:

Alex: Working at Chase Bank and learning a lot about the organization of finances.  Loves to come home before 6pm for a change.
Ligia: Is working part-time at doTerra International and continues to love being a home-maker the rest of the time.  By year's end, she was roasting their fourth bun.
Orion: Reads like a 2nd grader.  He loves learning and going to the library.
Chrysalis: Loves getting her toes painted and doing anything Mommyish like pretending to cook in her mini-kitchen and potty-training her dolls.
Hinckley: Finds it fascinating to pull the DVD's and books off their shelves over and over again.  Loves unravelling rolls of toilet paper.
Baby #4: Enjoys swimming so far.

Merry Christmas In July!  It's never too late (or early) to say it anyways.
